Jobs and Grants

Grants

The Swedish Taxonomy Initiative annually advertises grants for taxonomic research and inventories of poorly known organisms – the current application round for grants starting 2012 was advertised in April, 2011. Last application date is June, 1st 2011.
If you want to know how you can apply for these grants, please contact our research officer, Rikard Sundin (Rikard.Sundin@slu.se)

Grants from other financiers

The Swedish Taxonomy Initative’s economic resources are rather limited. It is also possible to apply for grants for biodiversity research, including taxonomy, from Vetenskapsrådet (The Swedish Research Council) and Formas (The Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences and Spatial Planning). For further information, see www.vr.se and www.formas.se.
